Day 1 – Arrive in Charleston, SC in the afternoon. Check into your hotel for a two night stay.
This is followed by a Horse Drawn Carriage tour of the historic district. Your guide will be dressed in a Confederate uniform will inform and entertain you with historical facts, lore, and humor about this 300 year old city. Dinner tonight at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
Day 2 – Morning tour of the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens a home that has survived the centuries and witnessed the history of our nation unfold before it from the American Revolution through the Civil War and more. Your admission ticket includes both the Gardens and the Plantation House.
Shopping and Lunch on own at Old City Market. A must to see, there are a total of four buildings spanning from Meeting Street to East Bay Street. An assortment of wares is sold by hundreds of vendors. You will find local artists, jewelry, tapestry, souvenirs, church dolls, afghans, rugs, rice, beans and sauces, local candies and cookies and much more.
This afternoon, visit the Charleston Tea Plantation it is the home of American Classic Tea, the ONLY tea grown in America. It is located on picturesque Wadmalaw Island in the heart of South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
Here you will learn first-hand how tea is made during an informative Factory Tour, then take an enjoyable Trolley Ride through the tea fields and help yourself to all of the iced American Classic Tea you can drink.
Dinner this evening is on own in the Historic District of Charleston.
Day 3 – After breakfast this morning, travel to Myrtle Beach, SC and check into your oceanfront hotel for a two night stay. The remainder of the day will be free for you to enjoy the beach.
Dinner tonight is at one of Myrtle’s famous Calabash Seafood Buffets. Followed by the Carolina Opry. This award-winning show blends two hours of high-energy music, comedy and dance in a luxurious theater complete with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and special effects! With a cast of over 35 of the nation’s most talented performers – this show has everything from rock to country to Broadway to pop!
Day 4 – Morning tour of serene Brookgreen Gardens, part of a 6000-acre estate that was once four rice plantations. More than 500 works of American sculptors are on display in the gardens, as well as wildlife and historical exhibits of South Carolina animals and artifacts.
You will have free time this after for a little shopping or just relaxing on the beach.
This evening, we option to you a choice of the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, or Dinner and a show at either the Palace Theater or Alabama Theater. We are happy to talk with about shows choices and compaitble restaurants.
Day 5 – After breakfast, depart for home.
