Day 1 – Arrive The Villages – Five Nights at the Waterfront Inn

On arrival your guests will check into a very nice hotel for five nights. We have rooms at The Waterfront Inn, and the TownPlace Suites.  Both hotels are located on a Town Square where there are many restaurants, shops, and at each Square there is free nightly entertainment.  Both hotels also feature large rooms with a refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, microwave, free internet and daily housekeeping as well as outdoor pools, and exercise rooms, and a breakfast included. While you are here each room has their own golf cart, so your guests are mobile and on their own for two days of fun. Every traveler will have breakfast vouchers for the hotel dining room so they can arise and dine at leisure.

Day 2 – Villages Trolley Tour – Golf Cart

The first morning your entire group will take a trolley tour. It will provide you a thorough orientation to this city of over 100,000 (age 55+). From the trolley you will see and learn about the Town Squares, and about the requirements of residency, plus you’ll see the recreation opportunities available to you in the days to come. When the Trolley Tour ends you will pick up your Golf Carts for the next two days. They come standard with a roof, rain enclosure, headlights, directional signals and a free tank 1st tank of gas. The Villages have separate (safe from automobiles) golf car roads.Note: Golf Cars are gas powered with a range of about 200 miles and the first tank of gas is free. Rental requirements state that one person in every room must be over the age of 55, and one person per car must have a valid Driver’s License.

Day 3 – Free Time Cruisin’

During these two days your travelers will start to feel like kids again. They’ll be cruising the streets, parking at the Square and listening to live music from inside their cars; or dancing by the bandstand – with the Florida evening breezes blowing through their hair. In The Villages when the sun goes down the fun comes up. It will feel like those nights when as teenagers they cruised to the drive-in with the top down and radio on high.Shopping and dining are important parts of The Villages lifestyle and there are literally hundreds of shops, boutiques, bistros, nationally known restaurants and stores to choose from scattered around the three Town Squares – all accessible by golf car! At each Square, eachnight you find free live music and dancing, modern movie theaters, and a colorful assortment of events and activities.

Day 4 – Daytona Day  – The 500

From your hotel in The Villages to the Daytona International Speedway is a scant 70 miles. Following a leisurely breakfast, you’ll board your coach and race toward the excitement of a full day at the Daytona 500. Known as “The Great American Race” and the “Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing” you’ll be there live in person. There isn’t a bad seat in the house as the brand new stadium offers dynamic sightlines and stunning views that rival those of race team spotters. Your group will enjoy a block of wide, comfortable seats high enough in the stands where you can see it all.You will also have a wonderful package of extras to go with those great seats, beginning with the Official Race Program. You also have Fan Zone Admission, this has been described as the most hands-on, fan-friendly experience in all of NASCAR sports. It allows you to spend time on the infield at the speedway in the presence of NASCAR legends, fast cars, diehard fans, and current stars. It connects you to racing action in a way you never thought was possible. Watch the pit crews on the job, catch some pre-race entertainment, driver Q&A’s, good drinks, great food — you name it, the FANZONE’s got it. You also have a hand held Fan Vision Race Monitor that fits right in the palm of your hand. It gives you:

  •  Live Race Audio
  •  Live Leaderboards
  •  Live Video Broadcast
  •  Instant Replays

Catch all of the extra race audio, stats, in-car cameras, highlights, standings, and much more.

Day 5 – Leisure & Rain Safe Day

This Monday is scheduled as a Rain Safe Day, just in case the 500 is rained out, you’re still in Florida and you still have seats for the race. Should the Race go on as scheduled, you can provide your travelers with another day in The Villages, rent them another Golf Cart, or you could plan a trip to Disney or any of the other great central Florida attractions.

Day 6 – Departure Day

This morning your group departs for home.
