Summer and Fall is High Season

Day 1 – Arrive at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut for a three night stay. This is the largest Casino in America. Lodging is at the Two Trees Inn.  Your room package at Foxwoods includes $30 in Slot Play, 20% off coupon in the Gift Shop and a free souvenir.  A Full Buffet Dinner is included tonight at the Casino.

Day 2 – This morning visit the John F Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. Relive the powerful story of the Kennedy years. In three theaters, period settings, and 25 dramatic multimedia exhibits, you will enter the recreated world of the Kennedy Presidency for a “first-hand” experience of John F. Kennedy’s life, legacy, and leadership.

Next, stroll through and browse the shops at Faneuil Hall Marketplace/Quincy Market. You will also have time to enjoy lunch on own.

The afternoon features a guided tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail. The Trail takes you to 16 historical sites in the course of three hours but covers two and a half centuries of America’s most significant past.  Dinner is included tonight at Cheers, the pub made famous in the TV Show “Cheers.”

Day 3 – This morning, travel to Newport, RI for the day. Start with a guided city tour of Newport. Travel from the Modern Age to the Gilded Age with the charm of Newport’s historic buildings and restored homes on this narrated tour.  Then take a tour of the Breakers Mansion. The Breakers is the grandest of Newport’s summer “cottages” and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family’s social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America.

Enjoy a breathtaking motor boat tour of Newport Harbor and relive the speed and thrill of the chase of the smuggler boats from the days of Prohibition. Aboard the high speed motor boat Rum Runner II, you will cruise by Newport mansions and former speakeasies that were fueled by seaborne smugglers back in the 1920s and 30s. Return to Foxwoods for Dinner on own and a free evening to enjoy the casino.

Day 4 – After breakfast, depart for home.
