Day 1 – Arrive in Nashville, TN.  Check into the Opryland Hotel for a 3 night stay. The hotel is still decked out for the Holidays with thousands of lights and decoration galore just waiting for you to take a stroll.

Dinner tonight is included at Ellendale’s Restaurant. This family owned and operated restaurant serves Contemporary American Cuisine. The menu offers creative, hand crafted dishes featuring fresh produce harvested from their own garden, presented with Southern Charm in a Historic Farmhouse.

Enjoy the evening on your own as you take advantage of the hotel’s many delights. Stroll around the atriums, outside decorations, and of course the lounges.

Day 2 – This morning after breakfast, meet your guide for a Troubadour City Tour.  Troubadour Music Sightseeing is an “Only in Nashville” kind of experience. Bringing new meaning to the phrase “Entertaining Narrative” it’s sightseeing with a singer/songwriter guide. The tour will include Downtown Nashville’s colorful history with drive-bys of the historic Ryman Auditorium, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Honky Tonk Row, Ernest Tubb’s Record Shop and The Bluebird Cafe. Plus, you will hear what it’s like trying to break into Nashville’s music scene, both the struggles and the victories. As an added bonus your Troubadour will perform some of his or her original songs!

Then this afternoon, you tour the Belle Meade Plantation, rich in history from the early 1800s thru the Civil War and beyond. Hear about the thoroughbred racing and breeding, and see the Civil War bullet holes. Visitors thru the years have included President Cleveland, General Grant, General Sherman and Adlai Stevenson. After you’ve completed your tour of the house and grounds, a free wine tasting at our winery awaits.

Now it is time to Party!  Spend this New Year’s Eve aboard the General Jackson, with Buffet Dinner, Live Entertainment and Dancing, and a view at Midnight of the Downtown Nashville Fireworks, and Midnight Toast.

Get your “Glad Rags” on (Party Dresses for the gals & Coat & Ties for the guys ). Boarding begins at 8:00pm – Sailing 9:00pm to 1:30am (times subject to change)

Day 3 – Today you will have free day to relax and take in the sights on your own. You might like to visit ICE!, take the Delta Flat Boat ride or do a little shopping.

Tonight, dinner is included at Santa Fe Cattle Company.  Following dinner, you will have reserved seats for the Grand Ole Opry.  For more than 85 years, country’s best have mesmerized audiences at the Grand Ole Opry Live Radio Show, the show that made country music famous. Each Opry show features an array of performances by new stars, superstars and legends of country music as well as great bluegrass, comedy and more. Opry shows are never rehearsed and never the same show twice.

Day 4 – After breakfast, depart for home.
