Join us for an exciting new, weekend trip to Nashville.  It starts with a two night stay, (the Gaylord Hotel is available on all dates at a slightly higher price).

This evening you enjoy excellent food and drink service prior to a fantastic show in the Vegas-style, CabaRay showroom by Ray Stevens.  A multiple Grammy Award winning songwriter, singer, comedian, musician, this brand new 700+ seat venue is his theater.  It is decorated as a homage to his colleagues and mentors, the giants of the Nashville recording industry.

Day 2 –Saturday – Music City Wine Train & Grand Ole Opry

At 8:30am the Music City Wine Train pulls away from the Nashville and will roll down the rails in historic cars from the 1950’s.  Why not make this a Retro Travel Day?  Encourage your customers to wear the fashions of a time past, turn it into a historical journey (online retro clothing stores are easy to find).  Make it a wine, time-travel journey across Tennessee in the 20th Century.   If you arrive early on Friday afternoon, we’ll drop you by a retro clothing store.

Once underway the train’s Porters become your Sommeliers describing DelMonaco wines and pouring tastes.  Thus begins the first leg of your lighthearted luxurious journey across Tennessee. Three hours out of Music City, your 70 mile rail excursion rolls up to a crossing on the front lawn of the magnificent DelMonaco Vineyard.  The next three hours here include a chance to tour the Vineyard there are 18 acres of vines growing, visit the cellar for another taste, participate in a few lighthearted games such as scavenger hunts and ring tosses; it’s a festival-like atmosphere with a live band and food booths scattered across the lawn.

Your group also has access to a private buffet on the second floor that includes fresh fruits, a variety of cheeses, finger sandwiches, nuts and other delicacies.   The rooms here are filled with tables and chairs, it’s a lounge where you can sit and enjoy a meal, rest after dancing or touring the Vineyards, come and go as you wish over the next three hours and avoid the weather if necessary.

At mid-afternoon, you gather your group and board your own bus for the one hour ride back to Nashville.    You will have time to rest at the hotel before this evening’s show or you can add another attraction into your schedule.    You will however want to schedule a dinner before the 6:30pm Grand Old Opry.

For over 90 years, Country’s best have mesmerized audiences at this Radio Show.  Each Opry features an array of performances by new stars, superstars, the legends of country music as well as great bluegrass, comedy and more. Opry shows are never rehearsed and you never see the same show twice.

Day 3 – Sunday – Departure

Your three day Guitar, River & Rail Tours ends.  Pull those modern clothes out of the suitcase, enjoy a hotel breakfast and board your motorcoach as you depart Nashville.

Groups wanting to add another day in Nashville should contact us discuss the many options available. ,
