Complimentary Fares

U.S. Tours offers one free with every 16 paid fares. On cruises the 3rd and 4th people in a room do not count toward your 16. On motorcoach tours they do.  Please note, we are happy to change this 1/16 ratio, as you wish. If you want 1-10 or 1-40, we can make those adjustments, it simply affects the price.

Last Minute Booking Policy

We know sometimes you will have a customer who wants to go at the last minute. When this happens, simply call and let us know, we’ll do our very best to get them on board.

Motorcoach Tour Cancellation Policy

We hope to minimize penalties on customer cancellations. Should one of your members cancel and you replace them from your waiting list there will never be a penalty from us. Note however, that airlines and cruise ships often charge for name changes.

International Border Crossings

On any tour leaving the United States, it is the responsibility of each passenger to have in their possession proper documents.  It is the responsibility of the group leader to advise all passengers.  Currently, to enter Canada, Mexico, most Caribbean Ports, Bermuda and the Bahamas, native-born U.S. Citizens must show:

  • A valid U.S. Passport, or
  • A Government Issued Birth Certificate (hospital issued Birth Certificates are not acceptable) with photo I.D. Cards.

Additionally, for airline & cruise security it is necessary to reserve every ticket with each passenger’s actual legal name, no nicknames. On all flights, even domestic flights, every passenger must show a government issued photo ID with spelling exactly as it is on the ticket.

Starting July 19th, 2017, all flights departing to the USA will be subject to a secondary security screening of all electronics larger than a cell phone (laptops/ipads/tablets, etc).  You will be asked to remove all covers or casings from electronics prior to check-in.  In addition, any electronic equipment in disrepair or broken screen will not be allowed to travel.  Plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to their flight as advised by TSA (Transportation Security Administration) and CESAC (Specialized Forces for Airport Security and Civil Association).

Starting January 22, 2018, passengers with a driver’s license issued by a state that is still not compliant with the REAL ID Act (and has not been granted an extension) will need to show an alternative form of acceptable identification for domestic air travel to board their flight.  To check whether your state is compliant or has an extension, click here Passengers with driver’s licenses issued by a state that is compliant with REAL ID (or a state that has been issued an extension) will still be able to use their driver’s licenses or identification cards.

U.S. Tours cannot be held responsible, and cannot delay a tour if any passenger is denied border crossing, or boarding onto a cruise ship or airplane. We recommend everyone obtain a Passport. Regulations regarding border crossings and identification are changing. Please suggest to your travelers that this is a good time to get a Passport.
